Questions
Read as much or as little as you need. Nothing here asks anything of you.
what this is, and what it is not
What does a life coach actually do?
An hour and a half is yours. The questions and tools offered, and the findings, are yours. No diagnoses, no prescription, no answers handed to you. We work with where you are going, not with what someone else diagnosed.
You do the work, not me, and that is the point. This is how it becomes yours, and yours alone.
My job is to make you feel safe enough to start. Safe enough to rant, to cry if needed, for the insecurities and the pain to come out, so that you can start to work through them, and toward a better version of you.
What is the difference between coaching and therapy?
A counselor or psychotherapist works with you by talking, usually over months. They work with what happened to you, and with patterns that are making life harder now. A psychologist is trained in how the mind and behavior work, and does assessment and formal diagnosis as well as talking work. A psychiatrist is a medical doctor, who diagnoses, treats conditions medically, and is the one who can prescribe.
A coach, which is what I am, asks questions and offers tools so that you find your own answer. I do not diagnose, I do not treat, and I do not prescribe.
I have written these out because the four get mixed up, and someone who needs one of the first three sometimes waits because they are not sure which is which. If reading this sends you to one of them instead of to me, that is still a win.
So if what you are carrying needs treating, coaching is the wrong room. I will tell you that in the first conversation rather than string you along.
Will this even work for me?
Coaching is not one size fits all. Each client is different and unique, and what one person needs is different from what another needs.
The programs are doors in, not boxes you get locked into. You might spend all your sessions on one, which is where the deep work happens. You might move between two or three as one thing opens into another. You might bring something that is not written on the page at all.
If at any point you decide to move in a new direction, we move in that direction. You are the one driving. I walk beside you, and my part is to ask you what you do not know to ask, or what you are sometimes not willing to answer, so that you work out what you need to do, and how.
Do I need a diagnosis, or a reason bad enough, to deserve this?
No, you do not. There is nothing wrong with you in the sense that you are flawed.
You are dealing with whatever you are dealing with, and you have decided that you do not want to do it alone anymore. That takes courage and bravery to do. This first step, and the many to come, takes a lot to accomplish, and the fact that you are willing to do work on yourself says more about you than what anyone else's opinion means.
What actually changes by the end?
What changes varies, depending on the type of work you want and need, and on how much you are willing to do.
That being said, you can feel lighter, with fewer sleepless nights, looking forward to waking up and engaging in a new day, and a whole range from small to big changes that you will notice in yourself, or have others notice about you.
The mind shift you obtain in the process has a compounding effect on your mood, your life, and your health. However, they are not medical promises.
the first conversation, and how to know I am real
How do I know this is not a scam?
Nobody starts with me without a conversation first. Thirty minutes, no charge, no commitment, and nothing is decided during the call.
If you want to start, you fill out the additional form, and read and sign the agreements. You book your slot from what is available, and then you pay after that, before your first session.
I am a registered freelancer with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, Freelance Certificate FL-884847149, and you can verify that at freelance.sa.
What happens in the first conversation?
You tell me what brought you, and what you want to achieve, and why, and what you are hoping to achieve from our working together.
Then, based on your goals and needs, you will be informed honestly whether I would be the best choice to help you or not. You will also be informed about what the time we work together will look like, and what the process will be like.
You will not be hearing a sales pitch, or be pushed into starting if you do not choose to for yourself, because the work will not work if you are not fully on board and engaged in the process.
What if I do not know how to explain what is wrong?
You do not have to worry about it. You explain it in the way you can, and you will find that you are heard, and that you are not alone, and that you do not need to have it clear and named yet.
That is where working together comes in. You learn to find the words that you already had, and the resources and tools you carry within you, to explain what is wrong, and then to fix or solve or heal what you want to work on.
Who would I be sitting with?
You will be sitting with someone who has a Master NLP certificate and is working toward obtaining her PCC credential. I have a variety of different certificates and degrees.
What you need to know most is that in our sessions it will always be about you. What your goals and obstacles are, what you want to achieve, and what you want to accomplish, no matter how small or big you think it is. We will find a way for you to achieve it, with your own thoughts and behavioral changes, so that you come out with new insights and new awarenesses about yourself and the world you live in.
I will tell you plainly when something you bring is outside what I am trained for, and I will point you to the right person for it.
Is what I say private?
Everything you share stays between us. For your safety and mine, I will always know who I am coaching. The world will not. No names, no faces, no testimonials or referrals that trace back to you, ever, unless you choose that in writing.
The one limit is the one the law puts on everyone: if something points to a crime or a serious risk of harm, I have to pass it to the appropriate authorities.
cost, length, language, and when it runs
How much does it cost?
3,375 SAR for the whole package, paid before the first session. One rate for everyone in the same cycle. Nothing to rush you.
Nothing else to buy, and no pitch at the end.
How long is it, and how often do we meet?
Depending on the cycle you are in, the length is in weeks, and we meet once every week until your package is completed. Regardless of the length of the package, the sessions themselves last ninety minutes.
Between sessions there is something to do. You grow. You pay attention. You notice the things we discussed in the session, and you challenge yourself during that time. Or you reflect, and gift yourself with a new sense of awareness you had not known you possessed before. Either way, it is still progress you made during that week, on your own, not in the ninety minutes we spent together.
Are the sessions online?
Yes, the sessions are online for the time being. So wherever you live, it does not affect our sessions.
Do you speak Arabic?
Whichever you prefer, and are most comfortable speaking.
When does it start?
Each cycle has a set start date and a set end date. The one that is open now, and the date booking opens for the next one, are both on the programs page.
Booking depends on the slots available. If none are left, the next opening is the start of the following cycle.
What if none of the programs sound like me?
Then say it in your own words. If what you are carrying does not have a name on the page, that is not a problem, it is just a door I have not written yet.
Be the first to name it.
what people are usually searching for when they find me
Am I burnt out, or just tired?
Honestly, I cannot answer that here. There are too many unknown factors, and you deserve more than a general definition handed to you as though it were about you.
What can be said is what each one tends to look like. Ordinary tiredness has a cause you can point at, and it lifts when the cause stops. You rest, you sleep, you take the weekend, and you come back. Burnout is the tiredness that sleep does not touch. It builds slowly, it comes with a growing distance from the thing that used to matter to you, and it quietly takes with it the sense that what you do is any good.
The similarities are why the two get confused. Both flatten your energy, both shorten your patience with the people you love, both make ordinary things feel heavier than they are, and both are real. Whichever one is yours, it is still affecting you and your life, and either way you want or need to change it.
Which is why I will not tell you which one you have. I do not have the facts, and naming burnout when that might not be your situation would be selling you a package rather than helping you. So take the first step, schedule a call, and see if maybe together you can find a better way to live.
Why am I falling apart when I am the one who holds everything together?
If you think that is you, you could be inside the door called Carrying everyone. I hold it together for everyone, and I fall apart alone.
You are the one people come to. The capable one, the steady one, the one who handles it. You have gotten so good at being fine that no one thinks to ask anymore, and somewhere along the way you stopped asking yourself.
What we work toward: feeling steadier and supported by the people already in your corner, not just by yourself.
Why do I feel guilty every time I do something for myself, and how do I say no?
If you think that is you, you could be inside the door called No room for me. I keep putting myself last, and I feel guilty the second I do anything for myself.
Fear often hides inside people pleasing: everyone's needs met but your own, because their approval feels safer than your truth.
What we work toward: putting yourself back on the list, with boundaries that cost you no guilt.
Why do I feel like a fraud? Is this imposter syndrome?
If you think that is you, you could be inside the door called Having all the answers. Everyone expects me to have it figured out, but I do not.
Shame often hides inside perfectionism: if everything is flawless, no one looks closer, including you.
What we work toward: dropping the pressure on yourself to have it all worked out, and starting to move with clarity and self trust.
Why do I feel stuck when nothing is actually wrong?
If you think that is you, you could be inside the door called Something is missing. I feel stuck, like life is happening around me, and I am just watching it.
Numbness is one of the names it hides behind. Not sad exactly. Not anything, exactly.
What we work toward: getting unstuck and living it, so you are moving toward something that matters to you.
How do I find my purpose when I did everything right?
If you think that is you, you could be inside the door called Checked every box. I did everything I was supposed to and it still does not feel like mine.
What we work toward: finding what is actually yours and starting to move toward it.
Why can I not finish anything I start, and how do I stop procrastinating?
If you think that is you, you could be inside the door called Finish what I start. I start strong and quit by week two, every time.
What we work toward: following through at last, with habits that hold because they fit who you are.
How do I start over after divorce?
If you think that is you, you could be inside the door called Life after divorce. I am on my own. How will I figure everything out?
What we work toward: rebuilding your life on the other side.
Am I having a quarter life crisis?
If you think that is you, you could be inside the door called Welcome to adulthood. I finished my studies, and now I am supposed to be an adult. You are somewhere between 18 and 25, and everyone asks what is next.
What we work toward: meeting the person you are becoming, with the confidence to stand in a room you have never stood in before, and the tools you built to stay there.
Why do I feel like a stranger since I moved back home?
If you think that is you, you could be inside the door called Home again. I came back after years away and I do not fit the place I left.
What we work toward: bringing back what you became without losing where you belong, and learning how to adapt to the changes you want or need to make.
Ask it. One short message is enough, and I will answer it plainly.
